She gets every one i shoot, but i keep the squirrels. It wasnt blown to pieces because it was a 25 yard shot with .410 #6 shot long range. I turned to look what was running across the back woods and here he came so i just waited untill he stood straight up on his back legs on top of a good sized bolder, i shot and because i flinch when i shoot i couldnt tell what happend. I walked up and found aspray of blood on a leaf that was in the underside of the bolder, i thought oh great he's under there. I'm not one to leave game behind so i attemped to pick up the big rock, no avail. I ended up having to use a few tree branches about 7 inches across and a few rocks to pick it up enough to grab him by the tail and pull it out. So, that was the first blood of the squirrel season
