You come up with I am shooting a grizzly at 300+yrds with this 220g Bullet,How did you get this from what I wrote?? I stated the power of a 220g piece of lead at a 100yrds....
You brought up shooting grizzly at 350 yards and you brought up the 220gr bullet out of the 30-06 for grizzly hunting.In fact youposted that you would be more comfortable shooting a grizzly at 300 yards than at 100 yards.
My point is that with shot placement any animal can be anchored down and that the 30-06 has more than enough energy and power to bust through both shoulders and exit a grizzly at 350 yrds...
I am goanna be more relaxed when a grizzly is 250 to 300yrds out from me than if he is a 100 yrds or under
..I would feel very comfortable with a 220g bullet fired out of a 30-06 for grizzly
