I don't consider it a push back so to speak but rather creating choices for the consumers. Now you can have one or two...Cams that is...

With todays string material and construction methods, keeping dual cam bows in tune is pretty much a non issue.

With the speed the Patriot Dual cam gets yes, it will get better penetration/more ke than say it's single cam sibling, comparing apples to apples.

Also note that the Tall brace option BK2 has a 6.75" brace height and yet it still has an IBO speed of 342-350 fps. I think that's a pretty forgiving brace height for that kind of speed...

I don't see singles ever being phased out. I think they will continue to get better and better as technology allows and they're here to stay.
