Digital is the way to go. I had a cuddeback but once if failed their customer service sucks but you can read that write up on my Cuddeback Customer Service post http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1722488.
I would say to spend you money on a few different cheaper ones and go from there. I have over $485 stuck into my cuddeback and for that I have gotten 2 years worth of pictures. That does not include batteries but does include shipping it back to them twice and the $35 fee to fix it that they have not done yet after 2 tries. If I could do it over I would buy 4 $100 digital camers and go from there. JMO.
