I was charged by a bear once but it was just a young black bear and it was scared as hell when it seen what it was charging at cause it was coming out of its den, but a huge grizz like that i would have poped a deuce in my drawers. I know that when ever i have a animal on the ground and im there gutting it i have my loaded rifle leaning right on the dead animal or right next to it cause ive seen way to many bears where i hunt. But glade to hear that you made it out alright. That will definitely be one story you wont forget.
