RE: longbow to recurve???
I hate to be the one to say it, but it's always gonna shoot to the right. Most all recurves are cut to/past center, and most longbows are around 1/8" off center.
Try this: grip the bow tightly when you shoot. That should gain you about 4" at the range you quote. You can also glue a strand of leather shoelace in the sight window. If you plan to be a "recurve guy" vs longbow, just shoot it like it is and in about a month, all your longbows will shoot left!
