I kinda think it may be wrong to say how many so I don't talk about it too much but I feel conspicuous by my absence in this thread so here goes. I only say this because it feels like bragging. If memory serves me right I've taken four by compound and eight by crossbow. The crossbow deer have been the most exciting more so than with the compound. Once at full draw I know the deer is mine, with the crossbow there's still much to go wrong before the arrows reach the animal. Hunting with bows is just for fun.
The meat hunting is with firearms. I wish I used a bow during the years I went to Wyoming. Hunting antelope with a xbow is a dream I dream.
