I just got a new 300wsm a month or so ago. I've tried a couple of different ammo's in it. I started out w/ Fusions 165gr. They were terrible. 5" groups. Switched to Winchester 150 BT's and started shooting penny groupings. I'm not a fan of BT's so I tried some Win XP's 150gr and got penny size groupings again. I'm still not a fan of the type bullet it is but its better than a BT. I'm just limited on the selection of factory ammo. I want a NP or Accubond type bullet.

Now my question. Have any of you tried reloading 300wsm with a NP or Accubond,Corelocktype bullet? What kind of powders are you using? Anything I need to know about necking and trimming? Hows the accuracy w/each? I would like to stay with the 150gr due to ballistics. I hunt in AL and a 165-180gr bullet is overkill for the size deer 90-190lbFrom past experience to much bullet just zips right through them with no expansion.
