It has got better every year with my wife. Moderation is the key. She knows that opening week of Archery season 10-14 to 10-21 and during the rut (Nov 3rd ish to Nov 13th ish I am in the woods) She also knows that I hunt the first week of Gun season (The week of Thanksgiving in WV), but I always come home for Thanksgiving day to spend it with her and my baby girl. I also add a few long weekends throughout Oct/Nov/Dec...

Imake sure I am home for trick or treat and Christmas as well. I will not miss "life" events or special occasions centered around myfamily for anything....including hunting. She can see that I think.

She is very understanding. She knows what it means to me and has became increasingly supportative. Hopefully she will become a new hunting partner at the camp during the fall...
