but those photos of the inside of the ribs do not indicate a sharp blade at all, on most deer that I have taken you can see a clean 3 or 4 blade razor cut with very smooth edges often even when cutting through bone.
I gotta say that the rib bone in the pic below sure does look very necely cut to me.
