Kodiak is a good rifle for the price. Now personally, if you are going to scope it, you're better off buying a shotgun slugger or a centerfire rifle. Using a scope on a muzzleloader pretty much takes the point of muzzleloading away. Im from colorado so owning an omega is out of question due to the lack of accuracy people have when using conicals. Its a sabot gun. You're going to get the typical, buy the omega, it has a transferable warranty, better quality, made in USA and not that spain junk! Ive pretty much heard it all and then find 3 or 4 threads about why wont their omega hit the target or why cant they do better than 6" groups at 50 yards. But hey i like the cva, winchester brands and for $500 for a muzzleloader, i'll spend that on a centerfire and not on a muzzleloader. I dont care who makes it, $500 is way to much for something that only carries 1 shot. has to be reloaded by hand and has a max range of 150 yards if your good. Buy what attracts you the most.
