Default RE: grizzly caliber

Have you ever compared the length of a recovered 140gr tsx to the 175gr partition?I have ,and the partition is not longer by any means. The partition quickly sheds the front core and then carries on with about 60% of its original weight(105gr),while the 140gr tsx retains at least 90% of it's weight(126gr).Therefore the tsx actually has as much or more weight while it penetrates. When you consider the fact that the tsx is solid copper and that copper is not as dense as lead, the remaining tsx is usually longer as well.
You make a good point BUT!!!!

If they out penetrate an NP, why are so many people recovering them??? (includeing you) I've recovered very few NP's in all of my hunting career, and yet there's picts of the TSX's all over the net!!! On top of that, many pro hunters don't like them, includeing this guy... http://www.graybeardoutdoors.com/smf/index.php/topic,95937.0.html

I'm reading ofTSX's tumbleing and many other failures, so i'm not convinced just yet... I believe to be the "best" bullet for all around hunting, they need more work! In the mean time the NP's will keep on working "every time" for me and many others...
