A friend of mine AI'ed his 7mm-08 a couple of years back,he loves it,he recons he's getting near 7mm rem mag performance with the 130 grain & 140 grain projectiles with his handloades without as much recoil.I find that a bit difficult to believe without seeing his velocities on a chrono but he is extremly happy with it.

I dont think there would be too many 260 ackley improved rifles around but I think it would be a good way to improve performance for you if your going to reload,would be a waste if your just going to use factory ammo.

If you decide to get it done,make sure the person doing the job knows what he is doing & has done it many times before.
