Come 'on folks,
Whitetail deer are not that hard to kill. Learning how to get the shot is what is hard.

I do suspect though that those who are consistantly shooting more than once are hunting in more open country and can actually see the deer for a distance after they shoot. I hunt in some pretty thick woods. I will tell you this; One bullet in the vitals will do it everytime.
