I think you may be right because you read his question right and I read it wrong. I thought he was talking about his heads opening up before the target and the paper test in front of the target is a way to tell if you are getting premature openings. I think he wants to know if they are opening up as they get into the target or staying closed and I have no idea how to tell that.
