LOL, seriously. If you go over the bow, make sure there is nothing wrong with the riser, limbs etc...perhaps even change the cables and string and it's be fine. Most of todays bows can take a dry fire tho I don't recommend it in any way. I knew a guy who used to dry fire his new Hoyts just to break in the string and cables. I'm telling you, it'd do it every new Hoyt he got as soon as he took it out of the box. Never once did he have a problem, but you never know. It's better safe than sorry.
