Actually,
If you had a field of view big enuff you would probably see another doe in the same exact pose on the other side. That is the fighting position that a doe takes. They rear up on thier hind legs and "slap" at each other with thier front feet. Last year, one of my sons and I watched a dominant doe take on a less dominant doe four or five times in the space of an hour. As the less dominant doe got too close for big momma's comfort, she would rush her and they would both stand up on thier hind legs and go at it for 10 seconds or so. The smaller deer would back off and they would stop for awhile. It really is funny as heck to watch two does fighting.
