I don't know why I even wasted my time responding to this post.
Yet you keep doing it over and over again. I didn't think it was possible, but you are even more long winded than Assgasman.
Oh ... and for the record I hereby crown GregH as the ultimate authority on deer hunting .... along with the guy that started this thread .... and if they have another opening on their committee, I nominate myself as well. :^) ha ha ha
Monster bucks, I like it. As the UA of deer hunting.... you're in.
It's hard for some of these non-QDM believers to comprehend that no one really gives a crap what they shoot. I don't hunt with them and they don't hunt with me, no one but my closest friend does. What ever they shoot doesn't effect my hunting in the least. The only thing that us believers are trying to say, is that
IF you want to increase your chances at shooting a mature buck, LET THEM GROW. It works. If not, shoot what you want. And here's a pre-congradulations! If you're happy, so am I.
As the UA of deer hunting, I'm going to lean towards what all the prominent Deer biologists are saying in all the publications, Shoot does and let the little ones grow. It really is best for the herd.
And that's respect.... the deer deserve it.
