Default RE: Sightron scopes

No the scope was bore sighted and was hitting 4" low at 50 yards and when we tried the raise the elavation it would go lower. This is he only scope we have had problems with like this. I don't know if we just got a bad scope or if they are all that way but for $300 it wasn't near the quality I would expect it to be. The glass was not clear at all and if you turned it up to 14 power you couldn't get it to focus at all. I would of recommended against buying it in the first place if I was at the store but since he already had it we tried it out and didn't like it at all. The problem was the employee at the store talked him into buying it saying the military used them for sniper rifles. I don't know what they use but I'm sure they are a lot better quality than the scope we have. Then when he mounted it and bore sighted it at the store everything was loose. We had to remove the scope and remount it and rebore sight it ourselves.
