I think you should! I love the book Kill It and Grill It.

I, for one, hunt for food andnot for trophies. I can't eat antlers, so I don't go after monsters. That doesn't mean that I go out and whack any deer that moves, but given the chance I would take a yearling doe. They ARE more tender and a lot sweeter. (psstt...BTW, I'm not a guy, so I don't worry about "short comings")

Like most people here, I don't impose my views on everyone, and not everyone will agree with taking a yearling anything. That's ok. That's what makes the U.S. what it is. It is OKAY to disagree and have different views.

Like Uncle Ted says, "You can't do this in France!"
