When they say inserts allow for alignment . its for vane/rest clearance , or broadhead inline with the shaft . Broadhead blade to fletching makes no diferance in arrow flight .

Your concerns are
quality matched arrows of the proper spine for your aplication
fletch clearance
broadhead alignment with the shaft
good nock fit
enough fletch to stear your arrow [read lots if shooting fixed heads]

remember grip toqure and other flaws in form realy show up when shooting fixed broadheads
