RE: frequency of stand usage?
Unless you are getting busted by deer, why couldn't you hunt a stand for a while. I have had years that I hunted the same stand every day and seen lots of deer every day. The only reason I hunt multiple stands is to see a greater variety of deer and to get some different scenery. It seems that every time I switch stands, I spend a lot of time thinking about what is passing by the other one.
If I spooked deer though, I might give the stand a little time off. But I have spooked a buck and had it come right by again the next day. I think that depends on whether you are hunting the rut or hunting early season. I think they are more likely to avoid an area after being spooked outside of the rut.
