There is no "PERFECT" muzzleloader. The Omega does have a fairly tight barrel but they shoot very well. Most all Omega owners have good results with Shockwaves, myself included. They are easy to clean and very weather resistant. The best load I have found for mine is 120grs of 777 and a 250 gr Barnes TMZ. Omegas are also MADE IN THE USA to USA standards.
