Sightron scopes
Has anybody had much expereince with them. My nephew the other day won a new rifle and the guy at the store talked him into buying a Sightron sccope. When we tried to sight it in we found the guy that mounted it didn't have anything tight and had the crosshairs turned to one side. So after remounting the scope we tried to sight it in and the optics were not very clear. Then when we got the windage adjusted we tried to adjust the elavation and the scope would only move down. No matter which way you tried to adjust it the scope would move down. I told him we are taking it back and getting him a Ziess for the gun. I'm not sure if he just got a bad scope but I would never buy one myself. For a $100 more he can get a Ziess Conquest which is no comparision in quality to the Sightron.
