i used it this weekend down in southern md very there is a alot buds and wasnt really impressed. first of all it relly didnt keep the bugs off of you.when on the ground were there was the most buds i still had to were gloves and a hooded coat and bug spray on my hands and face. then had a couple of deer come in front of me and they seemed uneasy and left pretty quik!!! then i looked down and the thermo cell was blowing right to those deer!! they mite have smelled me as well but didnt really impress me !!!!!!!
Maybe something is wrong with yours? I hunted on the marsh in Dorchester County on Friday and once I had the Thermacell truned on and fired up I was able to take my gloves and facemask off. I had 3 sikas walk by at 20 yards, and int eh evening I had 3 whitetail does whithin 3 yards of my stand, and killed a big doe at 10 yards, none of them ever know I was there.
