You will be forgiven for your ignorance.....after all, this is what this forum is all about.....facts.....not calling down people (like me) based on hearsay. Additionally, nearly every caliber that hasbeen made sincethe '06 was born compares itself to this cartridge and most.....yes most, say the same thing......the .284 umpty up or whatever is very close to the 30'06 in performance.
