You can try the method on the above link. I've tried a few experiments with putting spacers in the barrel bands made from small washers to take the pressure off the barrel at the front band, but I did not adjust the pressure of the tang screw. It didn't make any difference in accuracy, so I'm guessing that adjusting the pressure on the action screws is just as, if not more important.

If you do a little searching, Pierre St Marie has designed several different products specifically for the K-31, including diopter sights, scope mounts, and muzzle brakes that make the rifles more accurate.
