You probably have seen my similar posts before. I think I probably have the worst case of crud ring that you can get. I have done all the standard fixes as well as using all three breechplugs that T/C makes for the Omega/Encorerifles. I also have the .25ACP plug. FFF Tripple Seven is difficult to find around here. Everyone carries FF. I think I saw one bottle of FFF somewhere and probably should have bought it but at the time was so upset with the performance of 777 that I was not very interested. It just bothers me that some seem to have little problem and yet I can't get the stuff to work. Maybe it will work in my NEF Huntsman. Just picked one up used at a good price. I don't oil the bore and recently started using Ballistol which seems to have less conflict with BP or substitutes. I always clean the bore well before shooting and finish with alcohol. I had used #13 patches but they didn't impress me and have settled on making my own with the alcohol/windex mix (windex without amonia).
