RE: old compounds...new compounds
I have a hoyt trykon, an older mcpherson sololite and a hoyt hunt master recurve. The mcpherson has been old faithful for a number of years and the recurve isn't exactly modern either but the trykon has the flatter trajectory that i crave with compounds. The trykon is not my favourite as i have taken more animals with the other older bows and those memories mean so much. However i do find that with the newer bow i can shoot better groups consistantly but i would just like to say to just use what works for you best and don't worry about the age or performance of the bow.
