For sidelock testing, buy the FFF and say a prayer you get instantaneous ignition because both grain sizes are very large&most powderflasks will not pour that stuff out -- thus the lack of sufficient powder granules under your nipple sometimes.
For better or worse, when I go hunting, Ialways unscrew the nipple after loading my powder/bullet and pour afew granules of powder into the cavity under the nipple. Never had a problem and never had a hang fire in the woods. Ok or not safe?
