Cable slide question?
I was putting a new teflon cable slide on a friends Bowtech Patriot VFTthat is the same bow that I shoot. After putting it on like mine, I decided to check the picture in the owners manual and realized mine was not the same as the image in the manual. My strings cross above the cable slide, and the image has them crossing below. Now my cables don't touch and I've got it shooting good groups with BH out to 40+ yards, but my question is does it matter if the cables cross above or below the slide? The image for the Patriot has them crossing below, but the Extreme VFT has them crossing above. Should I switch them, and if I do, will it affect where my bow hits? If it will, I ain't moving them until I get back from my elk hunt in Idaho.
