I tell ya what. I see no real need to let the stand sit for a week. A couple days is all. But dont over hunt the stand on the weekends either, youll burn it out. Sounds to me like you have a pretty good spot there. If all else fails get another stand and put it somewhere else on the property. How big is the property? Also please make sure you check ALL OF YOUR EQUIPMENT from top to bottom from nock to br.head before you leave for the woods, when you get in the woods, and when you get in stand. Anything can happen between home and the stand. Also I have been bow hunting since 96 so 10 years or so, sure im not the greatest bow hunter in the world but from past experiences,by studyingthe animal you are hunting, you can make the best of a bad situation. I have been busted more times by old does than by any mature 8, 10, 12, 14 pointer I have come across. Does are very very skeptical animal, they know when something isnt right, ifa branchis out of place that they have seen hundreds of times, that will put them on high alert. Good luck to you.
