Doe Dumper...you're right there are more than few 760's in .300 Sav around. Back in the early50's when our guns were made there weren't many .308's on the market yet. I believe the .308 round hit the market in '52.I think that'swhy most.30 caliber 760's with the grooved fore-end are in .30-06 or .300 Sav.
Anyway, you can get new unprimed brass for the .300 sav. from Cabela's. They get $26.99 per 100, $124.99 per 500.
