I Have used Balistic Tips from .243 to .338 win mag and they work awsome on deer and that size game.One of my most favorite bullets was the 180 Siccoros out of my 300 Ultra Mag,it worked well on game from antelope to Elk.
But I don't shoot the Ultra much any more. My new favorite is the 225 accu-bond out of my .338 Ultra mag,that should be a real deer stopper.
