If you ever loose the feeling you have right now then it is time to quit bow hunting. The respect these animals deserve should never be misplaced with small things like rain or cold. You did your best and now after some time to think about it I think you see the shot you hoped was perfect was not.
I don't believe the deer was seriously harmed or you would of found a bed.You gave the deer plenty of time and he would have bedded if he was hard hit.
Get some rest give the stand a couple a days then head back out.
