I just bought a mint Sept 1952 build date Model 760 Remington in the 300 Savage with a 2x7 Redfield scope that seems to be almost as old as the gun. Anybody here had any dealing with this cartridge. I cant wait to get this thing out and knock a deer or three over with it this fall. Redfield must
have made a good scope at one time because this scope is extremely clear for its age. Got this gun with sling flip up caps and a box of shells for a little over 200..lol. Sometimes pawn shops are our friends
