No, as preposterously ridiculous as it may sound, I'm willing to wager that the knowledge you possess was
GASP! learned somewhere!
That's right.......it was learned. From my dad as a boy and then through hunter education classes, gun and bow, and PLENTY of initiative on my own out of respect for the animals I was going to hunt. I am not about to apologize for being a responsible, educated hunter........nor do I have any desire to sugar coat the embarrassing actions of those who sleep through the hunter ed classes or just have a "buddy" get them a stamp and then go out and shoot something in the guts and cry here that they did't find it.
A deer hunter should know BASIC anatomy......not just "aim behind the shoulder"
What would you say to a turkey hunter (gun) who didn't know he had to shoot for the head???.........Pretty BASIC huh??.......same thing.
So why shouldn't that information be posted here on HuntingNet for those taking that initiative to search for it?
Because they should already know it?
But wait, you didn't automatically know it either, you had to learn it somewhere.
Where can it be learned? Here on HuntingNet.
But they should already know it.
Which is why it's posted here for them to learn from.
But it shouldn't be here. They should already know it.

Do you realize how ridiculous you sound, Atlas? Of course not, you're the wisest and the most knowledgable of us all.
Lets all give Atlas a round of applause for being HuntingNet's go-to guy for anything you ever need to know about deer hunting.
(Unless of course that goes for judging a deer's gender before you take a shot at it, then you might want to ask someone else.)
