I've gone through several shotguns, but the one I keep going back to is my Rem 870 I've had since I was 14. After thousands of birds its seems to be "wearing in" instead of out. What I shoot at falls more often than with any other I've shot.

Rifle: Savage 99 lever action. I think more people would love these if they'd try 'em. They were made for the old-timers and they are serious lead-slingers. Handle like like a dream. Very strong action. Accurate- I can't win a bench rest contest, but mine will drill 4 into a paper plate off-hand at 100 yds. before most bolt guns will allow a second shot. Great in the timber.
