Default RE: Guns you like . Why ??

Handguns
Revolvers- Ruger Double or Single Action: Rugged and accurate, once they "break-in" and smooth-up. Both in .357 and .44mag.,.
Pistols- Glock 9mm's: They are accurate and rugged for their weight. In .45's, series '70 Gov't models, just like 'em better than the newer ones, fit and finish etc.,. For .22 pistols Ruger MKII's and Beretta 21's; both good in accuracy and reliability for what each are designed for.

Rifles
Bolt-actions- For centerfires Older Remingtons, at least pre-safety bolt-lock ones, Sendero model in particular. Why?, one word-accurate. In .22LR bolt-actions I've come to like CZ's because they are just as accurate as some .22 target rifles I've owned.
Semi-autos- Springfield Armoury National Match M1-A, rugged design VERY accurate, great balance for off-hand shooting. Plus looks politically incorrect, which I love. In .22LR the 10/22, like many Rugers a little rough around the edges when new but the stock just seems to fit me better than most others.

Shotguns- Not much of a shotgun man but always seem to have either a Rem. 870 or 1100 12ga around the house. Again I prefer older vintage ones in good condition. Like them, 'cause they are both a dependable design. Currently have a '70's vintage 1100 set-up as a home-defense gun.

"Lord, make me fast and accurate."
