As for wide support coming for the xbow, I only have seen strong support from the manufacturers and from a few rifle hunters who are not committed enough to put in the time a conventional bow takes but are somewhat jealous of the time archers get in the woods. The guys from Ohio I've talked to say that's exactly what happened. To be fair, most of the ohio guys I talked to about this were guys I met at IBO shoots that shoot compounds.
