My anticipation of the beginning of the hunt is much greater than my former anticipation of Christmas! The whole week preceeding the hunt I am very impatient and stir-crazy, wanting the end of the week to arrive. I drive 250 miles to my deer hunting area, and from the time my wheels leave the driveway I am on cloud nine -- happy, good mood, excited, enjoying the drive, looking for deer along the drive.
