Greg,
I used one for the entire season last year and loved it. Just like you, I found the instructions, and the DVD to be top notch. I never had any problems with it while hunting in all conditions. It never made noise, broke, or came loose in any way. It was great for stalking, while I don't usually do much of that in Southern Illinois, I found myself putting the sneak on a big doe last year. It was nice to not have to worry about the arrow coming off of the rest as I was moving. It was also great to be able to draw quickly, under stress, at an odd angle, and not have to worry about the arrow falling off the rest. I definitely enjoyed shooting with it more than any other rest in my 16 yrs. of bow hunting. I would shoot one for this season, but I think set-up would be a bit difficult on a recurve.

Good luck with your new rest and in the upcoming season.
