I always have several stands hung (8 to 10) I will rotate between them to keep them fresh.Some stands will go cold even with seemingly very meticulous attention to scent detail and some area's are more conducive to staying productive.
What typically happens for me is a couple of stands will be much hotter than the others and then I have to use a lot of discipline and common sense to hunt them wisely.
