I posted on another thread about this that there might be some special run 308. While writing I was thinking about Grice wholesale. If your local gun dealer can find them and send them a FFL they would be your best bet for finding a new 308 in carbine.

I would worry more about EAR PLUGS than a recoil pad if I were looking for a carbine 76-0-0.
