That third stand from where I park looks promising too. It's about 50 yards northeast of a bedding area. There are 3 deer trails that converge before the bedding area. I'm about 20 yards east of the intersection. I hope to ambush the deer traveling back to the bedding area in the morning from the field. I'll have to get there at least an hour before sunrise.

The fourth and furthest stand is where I shot a decent 8 pt last year. It is very thick with all the summer vegetation now but their are deer tracks there too.

The boat option is a great idea. Too bad I sold my canoe and trolling motor last year. I'm really kicking myself now!
