I live on the border between VT and NH, about halfway up the state. Last night I took a drive thru my familiar NH haunts, and spotted a single deer. I headed over the border into VT, took another back road, and saw 15 deer out feeding, including 2 nice buck in velvet. I thought there was a deer population problem in VT !!!??? Jack
