Well I would like to report on powerbelt effectiveness since there seems to be question about this bullet. My buddy shot a doe on Saturday at about 60 yards with a 100 grain charge of Pyrodex pellets. The bullet entered high on the back (loss 1 loin) broke through about 7 ribs, went through a lung, and lodged in the neck. The entrance hole was the size of a fist. The deer didn't move an inch and just fell over. The bullet was found in the neck, and just an estimate, the 295 grain bullet ended up at around 130 grains. The piece I found was the bottom of the bullet and it was only about .65-.70 inches around.
