Excuse me, but are you saying that you shoot 100+ rounds of 3 1/2 in shells for trap/skeet shooting in a single session? Your post is a little vague. If you do you you must be a wealthy masochist :P! If you do, then I guess you're more of a man than I.

I've shot 3" magnum slugs from an 870 Express 12 gauge and found them to be tolerable but not much fun to shoot. I can't see why anyone would use 3.5" shells for range shooting, unless you're patterning a new turkey gun.
