Still awful hot (and buggy) to be chasin' deer[&o] but yes I wish it came in a little earlier. Last year it came in on Oct 1st so it must be the first saturday in October by rule. I think that I have seen several states with later openers than us. BUT we do get 6 tags this year again, and bonus doe tags if needed...and the deer are still overrunning my neck of the woods.[:-] I think I am the only one taking "less than trophy" deer and using up their tags, but I gots ta eat deer meat.
