WASP mechanicals!!! What are you some sort of loser Don? The more I read over this "stuff" I realize that many including myself placefor to much emphasis on the equipment we use rather than hunting techniques. Scent control, stand placement and approach and the rest of the things that cause me not to score. The least of my problems is what I am shooting that day whether it be gun or bow. I am looking forward to the day when I can pass on a 3 yr old eight point as being to young and needing a year or two to mature.I prefer to rough score them when they are laying at my feet. This is also going to be the first year that I hunt with my Pheonix. Arguably the best bow out there unless you dry fire them.

What will be different then hunting last year with my Hoyt? Nothing much. Filling your tank and getting oil and gas on your rubbers is far more likely to cost you then using fixed instead of mechs or shooting 350fps instead of 300fps. Squirrel my young friend

at 13yrs I am guessing you have a ways to go before you become an experienced deer hunter and you should think of Jay like a magazine. In your defense Squirrelyou have a lot more knowledge than I did at your age. I wore old army camo and shot an old Ben Pearson 40 pound recurve with any arrows I could find and that was 34 yrs ago. You should let grampa Jay bounce your 6ft frame on his knee and tell you about some of those 200 big game kills. Sweeten him up and talk him into letting you share one of his honey holes.
